VLCC Papaya Fruit Facial Kit - Review and Price

Today, I'm going to talk about the facial kit that I always rush to when my skin needs that extra pampering. I don't like to visit salons often, and for a girl like me, the facial kits work wonders.

The one that I'm talking about today is VLCC's Papaya Fruit Facial Kit. The packaging is new, and the company has made some major changes in their overall facial kits. All their new kits follow a six step facial system.

Price - Rs. 250 (per Kit)
Net Contents - 60 gms (6 x 10 gms)

Ingredients!

Contents :

1) Comfrey Cleanser cum Toner.
2) Papaya Seed Scrub
3) Cucumber Gel
4) Peach Massage Cream
5) Orange Anti-Tan Pack
6) Oil-free Moisturizing gel.

My Experience :

The best thing about the new packaging is that they have provided a full step-by-step guide on using the kit. Also, the products used in Step 1 and Step 6 are the same in every kit!

Step 1 - Cleansing and Toning

I applied this cleansing and toning gel and maassaged it into my skin as instructed, for 3-4 minutes, and then wiped it off with a moist cotton pad. It left my skin feeling very refreshed! I really enjoyed using this product, and a single sachet would easily last me for atleast three uses.

Step 2 - Papaya Seed Scrub

This is a relatively tedious task, as you have to first mix the powder scrub with water (I used rose water for this step, but normal water would do!), and mix it into a paste. Apply and gently massage the paste in a circular motion for about 5-7 minutes. This did not dry out my skin at all, and made it feel very smooth to the touch. The sachet was again very generous, as this would definitely last me for another use!

Step 3 - Cucumber Gel

This is a cooling gel. It leaves a very soothing effect on the areas of use. All you need to do for this step, is apply a very thin layer of the gel and massage it into your skin for a couple of minutes. Following this, leave it on for about 15 minutes. (I usually binge watch Youtube videos in this time :P) After this, wipe it off with a moist piece of cotton. Once again, this sachet will last me for another use (or maybe two!)

Step 4 - Peach Massage Cream

Now this is where the game begins! grin emoticon Get started by massaging yourself with this like a pro! The cream has a delicious fruity fragrance which is not at all overpowering. It contains cocoa butter, Vitamin E, and trace amounts of Olive Oil. It is absolutely perfect for use on dry skin. I ended up using quite a bit of this cream upon use, doubt I'll be able to stretch it for another use though.
Step 5 - Orange Anti-Tan Pack

I really needed this step, I was still left with quite a bit of tan from the summer. You can mix the mask with a little water and apply it over your face and neck. Keep it on until dry, and then wash it off and pat dry. Again, I was left with a little less than what would be needed for a second use.

Step 6 - Moisturizing Gel

Just a tiny pea-sized drop of this gel was enough to cover my entire face and neck. I absolutely loved it! The quantity given will definitely last me for at least half a dozen uses.

The VLCC facial kits are my absolute favorite, especially the fruit and papaya kits as they give my skin an immediate glow and make it look healthier as well. My skin definitely feels pampered, and my wallet doesn't have a large hole burnt through it either! I am looking forward to attempting a second try with what is left!

I also need to mention, this kit is travel friendly (In terms of product quantity and size), apart from the price being an absolute steal! The availability is also excellent, as I've found it in at least three locations near my house. All in all, this gets a big recommendation from me!
